Marko Asmer website to be enhanced after BMW Sauber F1 Team announcement

Modera (http://www.modera.net), the content management system (CMS) and software specialists are to make enhancements to racing car driver Marko Asmer’s website (http://www.markoasmer.com) after his signing to the BMW Sauber F1 Team.

The website re-vamp comes after the announcement by the BMW Sauber F1 Team (http://www.bmw-sauber-f1.com and http://www.press.bmw-motorsport.com) that they have taken on Asmer as an official test driver for their Formula One programme. Asmer becomes part of a BMW Sauber F1 Team driver quartet that includes German Nick Heidfeld, Polish Robert Kubica and Austrian Christian Klien.

Marko Asmer comments, “I have been interested in motor racing since I was a young boy and Formula One has been the ultimate dream for me. I am really proud to be joining one of the top three teams by signing as BMW Sauber F1 Team’s test driver and I hope to use the opportunity to show what I am capable of for the future. I couldn’t have got this far without a lot of support in my career and I want to keep everyone that has supported me up-to-date with how I am doing through my website - as it happens.”

Siim Vips, CEO at Modera, the CMS specialists that built and maintain the website comments, “Marko’s site launched in October 2007 has thus far assisted him by giving him an online presence however now that his career is in the fast lane, it’s important both to Marko personally and the Marko Asmer brand that his performance is well tracked for his fans and that he is able to interact with them personally, which he will be able to do for example with the Marko Blog.

The new upgrades to markoasmer.com will mostly be in the back-end and will allow Marko and his team to continually keep his audience involved and updated on his progress and journey in the Formula One world.

Since the F1 announcement markoasmer.com has experienced a 52 percent rise in traffic and we anticipate this to grow in conjunction with Marko’s career. As a result of this we are making improvements to bring interesting content more easily to keep his supporters updated in a (literally) rapidly moving sport.”

“The site will have enhancements to bring content quicker as Marko continues to perform well in Formula One trials and races. The back-end adjustments are simple to add with Modera’s Webmaster CMS product that uses rich internet application (RIA) technology for intuitive user experience.
This will have a huge impact on the front-end with continual updates of fresh content including input from Marko himself. Exciting new updates include facilities for a fan forum, blog and videos which can be managed by Marko and his management team,” concludes Vips.

Modera specialise in creating simple to use content managed sites for well-known brands and celebrities including Estonian established singer / songwriter pop star Hannah, racing driver and Formula One test driver Marko Asmer, funk jazz band Jamiroquai and vehicle manufacturer and car dealer network Nissan.

London: Jamiroquai, the disco, funk and soul band now runs on Modera

London, UK ---- Jamiroquai, the disco, funk and soul band (http://www.jamiroquai.com) is to release its new website this week.

The site takes a new approach to the music business in that it delivers not only a comprehensive destination for all things Jamiroquai but also facilitates sharing and syndication via widgets and social networks. Content includes songs, video, event details, merchandise and artist resources.

Fans will be able to interact with Jamiroquai, enabling them to place popular widgets and Jamiroquai content on their own social networking and / or blog pages easily. The website employs new technologies, including calendar software Spongecell that allows updates on where the band is and what they’re doing. The software catalogues the bands journey from its arrival on the scene in the early 1990s to the present day.

The new Jamiroquai.com website is driven by an e-commerce platform that enables fans to buy CDs, digital downloads, exclusive merchandise and receive up-to-the-minute information using RSS to distribute content, calendars and photos. The new Jamiroquai site was created by content management system (CMS) and software specialists Modera (http://www.modera.net).

Jay Kay of Jamiroquai says, “The internet is shaping the future of music and I’m excited by the potential it offers artists. The new Jamiroquai.com site takes advantage of the internet’s growing ability to connect and share more intimately with our fans. They are now more involved building and sharing what they wish from the content on our site, even creating content themselves to share with us and each other."

Neil Cartwright, founder of Million Media (http://www.1-000-000.com), comments, ”The aim isn’t simply how many fans can we get to visit the artist’s website anymore. It’s about how we get the artist’s content on to theirs. Jamiroquai.com employs many new Web 2.0 technologies to present fans with the features they now want and expect from an artist’s website. The strength of the site is Modera’s CMS, which provides us with full and complete flexibility in updating the fans with the latest Jamiroquai news. “

Siim Vips, CEO at Modera explains, “The Jamiroquai.com site is extremely flexible and intuitive and embraces the social media culture that has been prolific of late. The site works in tandem with the bands profiles on MySpace, Virb, Netvibes, Imeem and a branded YouTube channel to name a few. All of Jamiroquai’s photography and imagery is available on the new site and is pulled from Flickr so fans can catch the latest snaps of the band at gigs and on tour.”

Estonian content management and software specialists Modera enter UK market

19 April 2007, London, UK ---- Modera (http://www.modera.net/), the Estonian content management system (CMS) and software specialists are to enter the UK market.

With the success of its EU and global client-base, the software company European headquarters in the Estonian capital Tallinn is now looking to the UK to expand its operation further into the UK and Northern Ireland.

Modera has experienced rapid growth in the northern European region alongside the digital enterprise boom within this area, with 2007 witnessing the World’s first internet-based parliamentary elections taking place in Estonia.

Modera aims to build its global internet software business using its presence in the UK to do this. Its objective is to sign-up 20 partners during 2007, targeting mostly small medium enterprises (SME) due to the cost and quality of the technology being more competitive.

Siim Vips, CEO at Modera explains, “We offer clients a full range of content management tools to choose from. These tools include a range of readily made modules or fully customisable and specially built solutions to manage larger projects and/or more specific and individual requirements. For UK partners we offer possibility to expand their development teams based on Modera’s developer base to manage bigger developments if required.”

Modera’s first UK clients include Snowdog Records (http://www.snowdogrecords.com/), that is about to launch two new artists in UK and globally, female singer Hannah (http://www.hannahsite.com/), and a pop-rock group called The Thief (http://www.thiefweb.com/). Modera’s CMS is also being used to create the new fan site for racing driver Marko Asmer (http://www.markoasmer.com/), the first Estonian to drive Formula 3 and a top driver on the British F3 racing circuit.

”Excellent programming talent in Eastern Europe has allowed Modera to create cost effective software that is flexible enough to be used for larger clients such as Nissan, Renault, Hong Kong Express Airline, Group 4 Securicor (Falck) in addition to be scaled down for SME requirements. Our systems are continually tested for performance, and are highly optimised to be user-friendly for all user groups. In addition they are search friendly meeting accessibility and usability and search marketing requirements.

We envisage that the forthcoming Internet World event in May 2007 will produce fruitful relationships for Modera, as we believe our software presents a competitive alternative technology that is currently more cost effective to what is available in the UK,” concludes Vips.

Modera will be exhibiting at Internet World 01 to 03 May 2007 (http://www.internetworld.co.uk/modera.html) at stand W102.

The media spokespeople for Modera are Siim Vips, CEO and Priit Vaikmaa, marketing manager.

Enter the Modera Global PHP Programmer Challenge - Deadline Extended to March 20, 2006

The Modera Global PHP Programmer Challenge deadline has been extended to cope with the increasing level of international interest. Cash prizes, international exposure and business opportunities are guaranteed for the winners.

Miami, Florida (PRWEB) February 9, 2006 -- The best PHP programmers in the world are invited to take part in the Modera Global PHP Challenge. The deadline for the competition has been extended to accommodate the increasing level of international interest. Hundreds of PHP programmers are expected to take part.

With substantial cash prizes, international exposure and potentially lucrative business opportunities guaranteed for the winners, it’s no surprise that the competition has already attracted some of the best programmers from the USA, Russia, Estonia, Holland, India and other countries.

“The idea behind the competition,” explains Siim Vips, CEO and Head of Modera Development in Tallinn, Estonia, “is two-fold. On one hand we want to give an opportunity for great PHP talent to show off their skills publicly - for personal glory, business reputation building, raising awareness or just plain cash. Secondly, because the Modera platform is fully customizable, platform independent and so easy to use it’s very exciting for us to see how people will take advantage of the advanced tools we offer.” Siim continues, “It’s impossible to predict who will win. Obviously the Americans feel very confident but the Russians have been working hard. The Scandinavian entries from Finland and Sweden look strong too.”

Modera welcomes individual programmers or teams from anywhere on the planet to enter the Modera PHP Programmer Global Challenge and promises international exposure, business opportunities and hard cash for the winners.
